Pada penghujung bulan Julai, saya Wan Nor a.k.a "jentayu" telah pun mencipta blog ini demi menyiapkan tugasan yang diberikan bagi subjek BKS 4023 Introduksi Perhubungan Awam atau sama dengan BKS 4023 Introduction To Public Relation. Objektif blog ini adalah untuk mengupas isu mengenai perhubungan awam dengan mewujudkan perbincangan/ diskusi/ soal jawab berkaitan topik kecil di dalam Perhubungan Awam. Topik tersebut berbunyi seperti berikut:-
"The roles of social media as the main tool for PR practices in Malaysia."

Have you taken into consideration that when social media advances the challenges for the PR practitioners also escalates?..
Social media nowadays have been simplified to its simplest forms so that everyone & anyone from all walks of life can access it… In other terms the accessibility of the social media has been dumbed down… You don’t have to have the ability of a webmaster to utilize the social media…

The above conversations are between two hobos who don’t have any jobs conversing between themselves on how to popularize their business… If there are any similarities of the real life living breathing person, it is purely coincidental…
Professional PR agencies get paid big bucks for their works on popularizing certain big shots in the industry… With the advancement of the social media, all of the wealth that the Pros are getting won’t last long… The big shots will soon realize that there is no need for them to spend their hard earned money on something that they could do on their own… They could ask for the favor of the people that they know or that is under them to publicize & popularize their image to the public using social media…

As for Mr Pizi, my gratitude to your point of views.. Such a commendable comments and I should admit that it really open my eyes to social media in PR practices. A clear-cut of example given also helps me to understand better of how social media can give both; advantage or disadvantage to company, organisation, PR practitioner, public figure or even individualist.
